For the last few months, anyone paying attention has heard all about Jessica Simpson's maternity wardrobe, baby shower, pregnancy fitness routine, etc. Now she's on her way back to regular clothes. Simpson gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday. I wonder if the next step might involve a wedding to fiancé Eric Johnson? Which would require a trousseau, of course! She reciprocates by taking them to work with her. This is labeled "Episode 1" so it looks as if we're in for a series.

More than 1,200 guests turned out Monday night for the annual gala to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation founded by the late Evelyn Lauder in 1994. The gala, at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan, attracted guests including Elizabeth Hurley, Michael Kors, Donna Karan, Vera Wang, Tommy Hilfiger and Erin Heatherton.
